Terry C. Rogers
Principal Attorney

Terry C. Rogers is a native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and is a principal in Calcutt Rogers & Boynton. He attended Michigan Technological University, and is a graduate of Michigan State University (B. S. 1967), and Wayne State University Law School, earning the degree of Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1970. Thereafter, he earned a Masters of Law in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School in 1982. He served as a law clerk for the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan from 1970 to 1972, and as the City Attorney for Grand Blanc, Michigan from 1973 to 1978, while in private practice in Flint, Michigan.

Mr. Rogers is a member and past President of the Board of Directors of the Grand Traverse Area Estate Planning Council. He is also a charter member of the Board of Directors of the Grand Traverse Area Planned Giving Council and the Grand Traverse Area Regional Community Foundation. He currently serves on and is a past President of the Board of Directors of Munson Healthcare.

Mr. Rogers is admitted to practice law in Michigan and United States Federal Courts, including the United States Tax Court. He holds memberships in a number of professional associations including the American Bar Association (Taxation Section), the State Bar of Michigan (Probate and Estate Planning and Taxation Sections), and the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim County Bar Association.

His areas of practice include Estate and Business Succession Planning, Taxation, Probate, Corporate and Partnership Law.
