William B. Calcutt
Principal Attorney
William B. Calcutt is a native of Traverse City, Michigan, and is a principal in Calcutt Rogers & Boynton. He is a graduate of Dickinson College (A.B., 1975) in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and the University of Detroit Law School, cum laude, earning the degree of Juris Doctor in 1978. He was selected Articles Editor for the University of Detroit Law Review, and is a recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence. Since 1978, he has been admitted to practice law in both Michigan and United States Federal Courts.
Mr. Calcutt currently serves on the Board of Directors of Central-State Bancorp and Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member for the MBA program of Lake Superior State University, providing instruction on the legal aspects of business.
He is a charter member of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms and he holds memberships in a number of professional societies or associations, including the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Business, Labor and Employment and Taxation Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan.
